Disney Magic pre-inagural cruise out of Port Canaveral Florida

The Disney Magic attracts guests who want to expand the theme park experience

July 2011: Port Canaveral offers a number of cruise options, and a three- or four-day cruise coupled with a Disney vacation attracts a lot of guests. Currently, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and the Disney Cruise Line host regular excursions, but ships ā€“ since they float ā€“ can be relocated easily, and the number of cruise lines/ships serving Orlando varies by season. In most cases, bus transportation is offered from Orlando.

While it can be fairly argued that combining a cruise with an Orlando vacation is biting off more than you can chew, an ideal combo is two or three days at Orlando parks, three or four days cruising, and one or two more park days. The cruise gives tired guests a chance to reinvigorate before their next four-mile theme park hike. For an updated list of ships currently serving the market, visit the Port Canaveral website.
